It's different nowadays
I've watched the village change
In the landscapes, I start to settle down

At the end of all those roads
Lie secrets all the old men used to know
Past the club and up, I see them
They're trying to build a hill

Someone told me
They'd ripped it down
Pulled apart and burned

Got talking to a guy
Who moved here in 1952
He'd seem them bringing down the old streets
And building something new

And all the reclaimed land, once churned up and spoilt
